I mainly write hard rock, metal and punk album reviews for The Metal Resource. I also do email interviews. The Metal Resource wants to highlight the positive side of metal music and our articles and information are filtered that way. The core of the crew are followers of Christ, The Son of God, they believe in His crucifixion and His resurrection from death, and they all like metal music. TMR has NOT the intention to influence the visitors opinion, the content of this website is just informative. I am a regular writer for Meltdown/Detonation (UK christian hard music webzine). Some of my reviews are also used in JXC fanzine (UK fanzine, gigs & promotions). I am also a freelance reviewer for Cross Rhythms. And i review bands at Greenbelt festival for them.

    I had a long walk this morning, and as I walked, the grey clouds began to break... gradually the sun came out, making the autumn leaves bright and vivid...
    ...though I'm feeling like a mosaic that has had all the grout dissolved, and though my heart is splitered and shattered into a million pieces, I know my God is holding me together.  The broken pieces that would be scattered into the dust if it were only my will-power holding them together, are supernaturally held in place.  Where the cracks barely meet, you may perceive the bright light within...  what appears to be my strength, is in fact the strength of the Lord.  I cannot be destroyed, no matter how broken I become, because my Lord is living within me...  His light, His strength will never be destroyed or diminished!  He restores my soul...

    Hi Pete,

    Thank you for the add! Also hope you had a good time at GB. It was painful being stuck at the end of the phone a hundred miles away about an hour before Yfriday were on, I can tell you!  Had a play of your film with Firefalldown which was cool......been working with two bands at home recently - my best mates and partner's band Salem Street aswell...its been really inspiring to find out more about the bands you have been involved with in your work. Made for some very interesting conversations.
