Leicester is noted for its up and coming young bands and one that is receiving a lot of admiration at the moment is White Ashes. This band oozes potential and it is easy to see them rising to the top of the tree in the not too distant future. Their stunning performance reflected their influences, including The Arctic Monkeys and the Libertines. They have mastered the idiom of modern indie and laced it with their own style of pop punk.
