Hello. We are White Box. We are an independent record label based in Manchester, UK. We are interested in hearing from bands that completely kick our asses, and musicians who create music that that is utterly distinctive. Or, at the very least, Not Shit. The general idea is to release music we like by people we like on any format (CD, vinyl, whatever) that we or the artists feel is appropriate. It's a simple plan. We are currently working with music that fits into the 'alternative' and 'experimental' genres; we are however open to submissions from people working in any genre, but unfortunately will only respond if these submissions are in some way in keeping with our intent. We are serious people. If you are not, we're probably not going to be interested.
After the success of the first in our series of concerts, we are now pleased to announce the second installment. EM #2 will act as a showcase for the Miasmah label, who have been rapidly gaining fans and critical acclaim since their debut CD release in 2006. Held in the beautiful location of the Theaterkapelle in Friedrichshain, expect an evening of darkly-lit atmospheres and Lynchian soundscapes!
