About me:


Hi everyone!

I am Linda, a 27 years old woman. I'm a student / singer / photographer etcetera from the Netherlands.

In my daily life, I studied History, got my BA, and continued with American Studies. I'm what you call a student forever, I don't want to work yet!



Besides my study, I tend sing a lot. I've sung since I was a little child, sang in a choir for a very, very long time until I moved to Utrecht and didn't have the time anymore.

Five years ago, I started taking singing lessons with Floor Jansen. She helped me to improve my technique, sound and interpretation. For that, I'm very very grateful.

I started singing in bands from 2001 on, and I currently sing in one bands.

Since September 2006 I'm a part of Android Soul, a symphonic progressive rock/metal band, which has sought to combine bombastic symphonic elements with firm power metal. We've signed a record contract with PMM Records in June 2007, and our album, Disappointing Paradise is scheduled for April 2008.

Icaros was my previous band which I joined in August 2005. More powermetal than Android Soul, but evenso symphonic. We're recorded one demo, called Awaiting Seasons.

I am also a concert photographer! I used to shoot a lot more pictures and recently, I've only taken pictures for a few bands and people, but it is still one of my biggest hobbies. Pictures of the most recent concerts can be found at http://www.frozenleaves.com/cpg !

Furthermore, I have a very sweet boyfriend, and a lovely cat who spends his day sleeping around. I'm pretty content. :)

Hey Linda!! Thanks once again for joining me there on SellaBand! I am now listening to Android Soul and it sounds great. Really interesting tunes and I like the way that it sounds just a little 80s (some of the guitars) but then the vocal lines and synths are different, remind me of some 70 progressive rock and that is one of my favourite styles of music. I am really digging it. Purrr!! Mrrraow! Cat

Hi all,

It has been quite a busy week this week; had to finish a couple of assignments and had to travel from one side in Holland to the other to follow up JORN and meet up with them.
What a great time we had!
Next to doing a photoshoot with JORN (not available online), I also shot the two gigs they played in Holland.

Also I finally finished the Android Soul pics.

Hiho,
wir sind auf der Suche nach einer Sängerin die unser Projekt kompletiert.
Damit ihr wisst in welche Richtung es geht haben wir die Aufnahmen an denen wir gerade Arbeiten schonmal Online gestellt. Es ist momentan noch ein Rough Mix aber ich denke um zu zeigen in welche Richtung es geht langt es allemale.
Ihr müsst kein Profi sein, ihr solltet nur eine gute Stimme und Spaß an der Sache haben, die Übung kommt mit der Zeit. Ausserdem solltet ihr natürlich auch Bünentauglich sein und nicht in kaltem Angstschweiß zusammenbrechen wenns mal vors Publikum geht ;)
