"This is absolutely gorgeous, gorgeous. How this band are unsigned I will never know - but this debut EP does everything that a debut should do - it sets out its stall, it delights, it entertains, it leaves you gasping at its genuinely staggering use of brass and drums. This epic Edinburgh-based five piece are reaching for the stars and getting them. Unquestionably one of the best things I have heard this year. Track down a copy whatever you have to do. *****"

Welcome to the White Heath MySpace – thanks for visiting.
We are a unique Edinburgh based five-piece band who draw upon a wide range of styles, traditions and instrumentation to create an exciting and involving live experience. We hope to have captured this energy and emotion on our debut EP ‘The Sea Wall’, released August 2009.
Over the past year we have been lucky enough to work with some inspiring artists from a number of different mediums. Three of the songs included on ‘The Sea Wall’ were featured in our collaboration with the Scottish School of Contemporary Dance in their winter production ‘Hard Rain’ and in our appearance at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange in the Edinburgh Charity Fashion Show. At the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2008 we collaborated with award winning hip-hop artists Mud Sun, and earlier this year we were commissioned to compose a series of original musical accompaniments to spoken word recordings for the launch of the esteemed poetry magazine Anon.
We’re grateful for your time and interest in what we’re doing. If you’d like to get in touch you can email us at whiteheathmusic@gmail.com or give us a call on 07926166550.
