About me:
We were opened as a beerhouse by James Simmonds, a foreman at the local cloth mill, around 1870. He had been given the building by his father almost 20 years earlier, but had extended it considerably by the time he opened the pub. The White Horse received a full licence in 1949.
We host a weekly quiz every Wednesday at 8.30pm, Every Sunday afternoon we host a music session from 3pm, musicians and singers welcome.

Who I'd like to meet:
Local people! Musicians, anyone who enjoys a good pint and a natter.
We like to support local upcoming and coming bands, if you are artist pop in we are always looking to brighten up the pub.
