I am a lover of books and if i start reading something i like, i develop a horrible sickness -- i cannot put it down until i finish reading it, unless i really need to sleep because i have something to do tomorrow or if it's ridiculously long, like the Lord of the Rings.
i usually don't capitalize things unless they are a proper name or the title of a movie or a book. otherwise, i know and use proper grammar and spelling for words. this odd combination is a product of reading a lot and spending far too much time IMing people online.
i graduated from Trinity Christian College (yes, i am a Christian) in 2006, with a B.A. in Philosophy and with a minor in History. i know a great deal about history. however, i do not have one specialty area in my knowledge.
i am one of the very rare true jack-of-all-trades in that regard. i know a little bit about a just about everything. well, what do you expect from a kid who would rather sit inside reading the encyclopedia during recess than go outside to play?
Yes, i'm a very quiet person. i do very well talking to people one-on-one, but if there is a crowd or a group of people which i do not know, good luck trying to get me to talk at length about anything.
being a shy and reserved person can be hard at times. it seems to me that though girls often say they like the "strong, quiet type," they rarely ever go for them in real life.
i enjoy a wide variety of movies, as long as the plot is good. i enjoy good cinematography also. however, i think most chick flicks are unimaginative and boring. the same thing goes for music -- i will listen to just about anything as long as it's well-composed and performed well. i will admit that i do not like country very much, although there are some songs that i enjoy.
i do not watch TV very frequently. the exception is college level and professional football (not soccer, to clarify) which i watch as much as i can. i always throw a great Super Bowl party and usually have a group together for some of the college bowl games.
Currently i have been watching a lot of Anime. if you like anime, that's a bonus, but not a requirement by any means.
