Well, all jest aside... Gamma Ray, Helloween, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Cacophony, King Diamond, Manowar, Last Empire, Fear, J.S. Bach, Felix Mendelssohn (okay, not really that one, at least not yet, but it looks so cool to put his name there), the ongoing fight against false metal, urinating on the living room floors of wimps and posers (or at least giving them dirty looks)... our influences are many.
Sounds Like
True, old-fashioned power metal: epic, but still aggressive, without all the sissyhood involved in most of it nowdays.
We're White Lightning, a band that started in early 2005 as a punk/death metal/glam rock act featuring Jessica Sylvia in the front, her younger brother Peter on guitar, Matt Fitzgerald on drums and Ryan Olson on bass. After Jessica moved to Hawaii, though, Peter called up his friend Tony Cordes to get him to play guitar and sing for the band, and soon after that we took a more power metal tack towards things, and since Ryan stopped showing up for practice a bit before Tony joined the band, we brought in Peter's younger brother Andrew on bass detail. With the band complete, we started playing shows in May, 2006, had a blast with it, made some friends along the way, and even managed to finish a demo in the early days of 2009. Be that as it may, in the fall of that same year we decided that things had slowed down too much, we were far too unproductive, and it was time to move on, so we're really not a band any more. Sorry if that upsets you. It upsets me, too.

Hey guys, we have posted a test mix (a teaser!) of THE ETHEREAL DREAM featuring former HELLOWEEN singer master Michael Kiske. It's not a heavy track.. but there are still some rocking parts with high vocals! Two different versions of this song will appear on our debut. The original is featuring the huge talent of Mike Gorham... while the 'Kiske-version' will be added as a bonus track". About "34613"; we're slowly but surely getting there! Only 2 more songs left to record now. I'll keep you updated. Have a great week. Best wishes from Sörvik "Rock" City and Northern Norway.. PS! We have also uploaded a 34613-teaser for YouTube.
