Theremins galore- glam-tronic- electro-billy lunacy.
The White Noise Festival 2009 will be held at The Rainbow, Digbeth,Birmingham on the 27th & 28th of March 2009, featuring an international line up of music with 12 bands and 7 djs battling it out in this unique victorian boozer in Birminghams regenerated arts quarter.
Battle commences at 7pm each night and runs through to 4am each morning. Tickets are priced £10 for a day ticket or £20 for a 2 day pass (plus £1.50 booking fee) .
The Rainbow's main feature is the courtyard. An alfresco urban disturbance set against a backdrop of industrial decay, graffiti and regeneration. It's a venue for all seasons with it's retractable roof and heating for the winter months. Adjacent to the courtyard is a smoking area so smokers don't have to pile onto the streets to enjoy a cigarette. The Rainbow courtyard clearly stands out as a unique space.
The turbo PA has provided the sound for Crazy P, Mohair, DJ Derek, The Twang, Clive Henry (DC10) Bill Brewster, Idjut Boys, Alexander Nut, Mixmaster Morris, The Bees, The Prodigy and more.
This intimate space has recently enjoyed accolades from The Guardain and The Independant and regular features in The Metro newspaper.
Vice Magazine and Fused magazine have organised parties here and it's the home of BELOW the underground deep house, techno brand that has been recently voted by Mixmag "The UK's most important underground club".
500 tickets are available both nights , for line up and venue please read the relevant sections.

"blending low-level hip-hop beats with Scorn-esque bass and elonated guitar riffs to remarkable effect. . . it's that awesome. . . the music is superb, the artwork and packaging equally good. . . [it's] warped shuffling genius. 300% necro, foo'! (5/5)" (Zero Tolerance magazine).

Hey,
please have a listen on my new release "SOULTRAIN EP" (incl. Soultrain & Audiovole) with Patrick Muschiol on Tracer Records. Tracks in my player - available exclusive on Beatport!!!
Hi white noise electronic music festival, thanks for continuing to be a friend of Electroflex.
Some important news!
Electroflex have been back in the studio following a break from gigging and recording with new track ‘Computer Virus’.
This is the first of a series of new releases for 2009, and what better day to start on than Liz’s Birthday!
‘Computer Virus’ is a live favourite. Anyone forced to work with computers will know how evil they are and this track is Electroflex’s response to Kraftwerk’s ‘Its More Fun to Compute’. It is a bouncy number with a serious bassline, sing-along chorus and a selection of curious samples.
The track will only be up on Myspace in full for a short time. Alternatively, visit our Facebook and iLike pages where you can add the song to you playlists
Each event will also have the finest DJ's playing the finest bleepy and stompy music for your listening pleasure, free sweets, glosticks and Cyberdog stuff and should be amazing, so get your neon-clad booties down there and join us.
HEY ...
