Noises heard from the roads. Sounds from joyful throats.
We vegetables have grown in number. I along with Ian have joined Kitty's Cats, the max ryznar project of some years now. I pass his kind regards onto from Muskegon. I am giving my 3 writing classes extra credit for attending your show in Grand Haven, which should help turnout. Hope you took a listen to that hand made demo, and if you lost it in a pile of aspiring cds, please know that I am still proud of your progress. Be swell and in touch when back in our hometown.
All My Best and the rest, Mr. Dylan "Vegetables" Brock
"Finally, middle school students might enjoy Joe Scott: The Woodsman-Songmaker. The first section of the book tracks the life of the Maine woodsman, while the second reprints and analyzes the folksongs he composed while working in the logging camps. This book is excellent for learning about the life of a typical woodsman and the folklore that arose around the profession. Some of Joe Scott's songs could be included in the website. Books such as these, with a close focus on people and place would really help give the curriculum color."
Nashville is gear! When are you coming to bass my face off? My endlessly rewritten novel approaches publication. Now i have to make the record that goes with it. I'm still looking for free pedal steel players. Let me know if any of your projects make it this far south. Vacation down here when it's less cold but still cold. And be well. I try my hardest to.
It was super awesome to see you this weekend, Joe. I hope your travels are safe and that I get to see you again soon, in one state or the other. If fact, I've been thinking of late about a possible trip to the big apple. If this happens, I'll hope for a Joseph Patrick Scott excursion. Perhaps we can find a bowling alley...er, in Jersey somewhere, I suppose.
