WHITE RUSSIANS formed late 2005 from the ashes of the late great "Ben and the Pimps" a band well know for playing Bar-BQ's and kids birthday party's dressed as chickens. The first step was to gig so they got a residency at bar Colour in Camden in which they were payed in free cocktails from there mentor "Egor the bar man". After recording there first ep with Darkness producer pedro Ferrara (released onthere own label f-shine records in Oct 2006) the Russians have became a regular on Steve Lamacq evening session and have played the SXSW festival in Austin Texas. The band have just finished there self titled debut album due to be released july 21, 2008 on the fading ways label.White Russians are Ben Etchells: Vocals and guitar, Chris McDougall: Bass, Martin Lynch: Guitar, Bouix: Organ and Johann Kettering: Drums

Rumplestilkskin was filmed in march 2005 for a super 8 competition. Unfortunately we all got a bit hammered and the final take didn't come out. It turns out the camera used was bought at oxfam for £5 and hadn't been checked, the version you can see is a rehearsal filmed on dv! Enjoy!
