UPDATE FINALLY! Apologies for being so far behind on the news, it's the kind of thing that can be forgotten when we've got so much else going on. Deus Destroyed has been recorded at Nightsky Studios in Waldorf, MD. It is 10 tracks and about 40 minutes in length. As soon as we can gather money to have the album printed, we will. In just a short time fans will be able to get their hands on our second album. Keep your eyes peeled for updates.
White Shadow is an industrial rock band originally from Huntingtown, MD, that has relocated to Baltimore, MD. The band has a well established fan base in Calvert County, and seeks to foster one in its new hometown. The band blends dance-oriented electronic music with hard rock and metal to create a sound unique in the area. Heavy use of melodic synthesizers and sung rather than screamed vocals sets White Shadow apart from the normal trends seen in many bands. Pulsing electronic drums and emphasis on bass lines make the music prime for a club. However, the music played by the band is as much at home on the dance floor as it is in a mosh pit. Crunching, distorted guitars combined with the throbbing drums drive many of the songs into a frenetic, energy-filled peak. White Shadow has been compared to the likes of Rammstein, Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, and KMFDM. While these comparisons are valid, the band maintains its own unique idiosyncrasies not seen in any other industrial band. The band released their first CD, Mindbreak in 2007 and is preparing to release their second, Deus Destroyed very soon in the future.
The 8X10 Open Mic Tonight! We're going to be down there talking to artist, having a beer and hanging out. Joel Port & Savage Mill are taking the stage for a fun set. Joel was recently confirmed a European Tour. These guys are EXCITED. Come hang out-pick their brains. Take the stage with instruments- they have the backline, drums and amps all rigged up! Dorey Music Group is the Official Audio Manager for the Chesapeake Tide. We have a large groups of tickets for this weekends game and want to treat fans of the local music scene to the event.
Bands: get a group of fans together and come out to the game for some R&R time with them. This is a great way to show them appreciation without pressures of performing or hawking tickets. Have a beer, hiot dog and laugh with them.

Really cool meeting you guys last night at Battle of Bands. You garnered more attention than any of the other 14 bands in the room. As we said- your performance, confidence and crowd interaction was excellent. Play around with some alternate vox synth modes and bring the attire and image together for all 5 of you. That will SEPERATE you from peers in your genre. It will also impress the music business side that you are full fledged and dedicated. That's what we look for. BEST OF LUCK. Jason- DMG.
