Watching my daughter play soccer and basketball for her town or her school or her club team(s). Playing with my little guy and trying to see he world through his eyes... Doing anything, ANYTHING, with my wife. Hanging out with friends. Music. Wine. Cigars. Fixing up old homes.

Films
The Godfather, Life Is Beautiful, Pulp Fiction, Godfather II, Goodfellas, Reservoir Dogs, Apocalypse Now, Deerhunter, Rocky (only 1!, lol), Princess Bride, Heat, Scarface, A Time To Kill, ...
Television
House, American Chopper, Overhaulin', Extreme Home Makeover, Ultimate Fighting (I know, I know), HBO Boxing, Showtime Boxing, The History Channel, DIY Network, Independent Film Channel (although I guess that should be under 'Movies', eh?), HGTV...
Books
Elmore Leonard, biographies, How Tos, true crime ... I should read more, but it seems short stories and magazine articles are all I have time for these days... :-(
Heroes
Heroes? My wife... My kids... My mom and dad... My friends. Those who came from little and succeeded. Those who started with gifts but overcame obstacles. Those who strived and fell... but got up. Those who made it, not despite hard work but because of it. Those who could take the easy way out, coast, do well... and don't do it that way. Those that have earned what they have, or earned the right to keep it.

About me:
A 46 year old married dad. I have the best wife (super intelligent, loving, great mom, attractive, sexy, successful), the best daughter (one of the brightest in the country, plus athletically talented, well behaved, beautiful... and a little mischievous!), and the best baby boy (a real handful at times, but full of personality, handsome, and bright). I have the best mom, had the best dad, and have a great family and great in-laws.
Happy, I think.
Healthy, I hope.
I have friends from kindergarten, high school, college, and my career. Varied, they are both educated and self taught, are poor and rich, single and married, moms, dads, and those with no kids. East Coast, West Coast. Self made and those born with a leg up. Those on the way up, and a few on the way down, too. Young and old. A wide array of friends that have one commonality: a good heart.
Born and raised in the Boston MA area, I'm pretty sure I'll die here too. Hopefully though, not for a LONG time.

Who I'd like to meet: Friends who are already here and have a page!
Old friends I don't see enough anymore.
People with something interesting to say. Opinions, backed up by knowledge... Music, politics, current events, whatever. Not just what the papers or friends told them to think, but well thought out opinions.
HI Edward ! Thanks for the add. I'm just filling in at flora this month, but it would be fun to play there with some regularity, since i live two blocks away : )
