"To announce that there must be no critism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public."
-Rebuplican President Theodore Roosevelt 1918
"The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything."-- Josef Stalin.
"Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote!"
Benjamin Franklin
"If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude
greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us
in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down
and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon
you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen."
—Samuel Adams
"Law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it
violates the right of an individual." --Thomas Jefferson
"No nation however powerful, any more than an individual, can
be unjust with impunity. Sooner or later, public opinion, an
instrument merely moral in the beginning, will find occasion
physically to inflict its sentences on the unjust... The lesson
is useful to the weak as well as the strong." --Thomas Jefferson
"If this were a dictatorship, it would have been a heck of a lot easier, just as long as I'm the dictator!" - George W. Bush
evil provails when good men fail to act.
Edward Abbey
"A patriot must always be ready to defend his country against his government."
- Edward Abbey (1927-1989)
“The tragedy of modern war is that the young men die fighting each other - instead of their real enemies back home in the capitals.”
- Edward Abbey (1927-1989)
“Never forget that only dead fish swim with the stream.”
- Malcolm Muggeridge
Drug Facts And Statistics

Deaths in the United States in a typical year are as follows:
* Tobacco kills about 400,000
* Alcohol kills about 80,000
* Workplace accidents kill 60,000
* Automobiles kill 40,000
* Cocaine kills about 2,500

There has never been a recorded death due to marijuana at any time in US history.
"Make the most of the Indian Hemp Seed" - President George Washington, 1794
All illegal drugs combined kill under 20,000 per year, or a small percent of the number killed by alcohol and tobacco.
Tobacco kills more people each year than all of the people killed by all of the illegal drugs in the last one hundred years.
In December 1997 a long-awaited report by the World Health Organization (WHO) of the United Nations about marijuana came out, the first in 15 years.
A scandal erupted when the British science magazine New Scientist in its February 1998 issue exposed the suppression of a chapter in the document·
In the censored chapter the authors, three leading addiction researchers, compare the dangers of marijuana, as documented by science, against those of the legal drugs alcohol and nicotine and illegal opiates.
In dry, factual language they point out that where risks exist these are actually more serious for these two legal drugs.
They exposed the double standards that are being applied in the drug debate, and according to an insider quoted by New Scientist some WHO officials went nuts.
Two WHO bureaucrats opposed to the report were WHO-head Nakajima (retired in June 1998) and narcotics division head Dr. Yoshida.
The conclusion of the New Scientist on the whole issue of marijuana is that legalization is not a question of if but when.

Movies
Concerts count don't they? Allman Brothers Band: Peakin at the Beacon. FTW! There are ALOT of concerts that I love, can't even begin to name them, but that's the best!
I really dug, Sweet and Lowdown, Boondock Saints, Pulp Fiction, V for Vendetta, The Last Samurai, Every Quinton Tarantino Flick, Serenity, Crossroads. I like a lot of movies, and I really really like Asian martial arts films. They're so beautiful and graceful in there movements. I like suprisingly violent movies for my pacifistic ideals. Strange? I also like movies with deep plots that make ya think you got it figured out and then completly twist on ya.
Let's see. Well I'm anything but simple I suppose. Kinda an interesting jumbled up mess of all of my thoughts, loves, and interests. But I like it that way! First and foremost I'm a guitarist. Picked up my first axe when I was four, and have been choppin at it ever since. Although, I admit, there where many luls in my progress. It's finally straightened out within the past few years and the loving relationship between my "girls" and I is where it needs to be. I suppose you could say I'm good with my fingers. My influences come from many genres of music, mainly Manouche, Swing and Bebop Jazz, Telewhackin, the Jam Band Scene, Rockabilly, Bluegrass, Blues, and Folk.
My beliefs and ideals, come from no church or organized religion as a whole, although they are made up from many of these different philosophies. The teachings of the Dalai Lama, Tibetan Buddhism, Humanitarianism, Native American Beliefs and Traditional Celtic Paganism make up for the core of my understanding. Not saying I understand any of them, but in one's own beliefs you must take what you know or perceive to know and apply it in your own life as you see it fit. I have no qualms with Christianity or any other form of religion. I understand that everyone's spirit is unique and individual, and I gladly accept that. I only often worry about many people being hand fed and led into their beliefs as sheep, without actually ever questioning there soul and such. It's great to have faith in something, but just because your parents or your preacher tell you something, doesn't make it fact. Perception IS Reality. Don't lose sight in what is just and right.
Which brings me to my next topic. My governmental standpoint. I'm a pacifistic new age liberal hippie minded kid. I'm very frustrated and upset with the U.S.'s current leader and how our government has been run within past years. I'm terrified of the future to come. Please Please, watch the Loose Change 2nd Edition footage that I have posted under my movie section. It could very well change your life. It has mine. I have come to the point of utter disgust with our leaders. The freedoms granted to us, we the people, have been completly torn away with the installment of the Patriot Act and many other revisions from the Bush administration. The lies that go on everyday, whilst innocent men and women die in a needless war everyday for nothing more than George W. Bush's corrupt plot to gain more oil and wealth. All of Bush's friends are allied in this, because they are making money from their war machine contracts, the oil, etc. THE TIME FOR REVELUTION IS NOW! There are many many things wrong with this country's leaders. I'd like to state however, I LOVE AMERICA, I love the people, I love the beautiful land and all that it entails. We are more fortunate than many other countries and I understand this, but that doesn't mean we have to stand for a government against our interests of freedom and security.
Marijuana. LEGALIZE IT for fuck's sake! Not necessarily for the purpose of smoking it, but for the fact that HEMP is the most useful plant in existance. 1 acre of Marijuana produces as much oxygen as 100 acres of trees, takes one year to grow as opposed to 100's for tree's and could save our forests completly seeing the vast number of uses for all of the byproducts of cannabis and hemp. Fuel, Concrete, Houses, Paper, Textiles, Energy, Medicine, etc. All our problems could be easily EASILY solved, with not only legalizing, but promoting the growth and cultivation of cannabis hemp. Please purchase a few of the books in my conveniantly placed...BOOKS section if you are interested in helping support this cause or learning more about the thousands of things that cannabis could do for the world and bettering the environment.
Also, on the smoking it issue. If people are going to smoke, why not? What is it harming but themselves? And that's only from the fact that you are SMOKING something. Anytime smoke gathers within your lungs no matter what it's from, it's not healthy, plain and simple. People know this. Cannibis is a far safer substance than any manufactured tobbaco product and has never lead to a death due to usage. You cannot overdose on Marijuana. Marijuana leads one to question, and explore their mind and that is something that should not be oppressed. FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHTS!
