Rogers area of southwestern Virginia, along with material from many other sources--older country, bluegrass, gospel, original material, wide range of old time influences such as G.B. Grayson, Arthur Smith, Skillet Lickers, Carters. Louvins, Molly O'Day, Coon Creek Girls, Hank Williams, Cousin Emmy, Stanleys etc. etc. Have been said to be a cross between Maddox Brothers and Rose and the Skillet Lickers. Hard core old time, but open minded.
