After 7 years as White Trash Ambition, the time has finally come to put the beast to bed.
In the end, it wasn't so much choice as necessity. Dan is moving to Holland, and the rest of us wish him, Anna, Florrie, Addy and Marvin all the luck in the world, whilst also warning them that as soon as we find out where they live they might find it hard to get rid of us! Amsterdam look out!
It's been a massive amount of fun the whole time, and even with our procrastinatory ways we managed to produce some half decent music every once in a while. Along the way we got to play some cracking gigs and some shit gigs, made children dance and made children cry, got cabin fever in Geena-Beena (the legendary yellow camper), parned some Fleffyn, got stuck in Leeds ("...all the signs say 'The Fucking North'!"), got to play with a couple of our heroes, and managed to clear a room in London within one song. It was an 8-minute song mind, and we had a nice curry.
So, to mark the occasion of the end of WTA sound, we are playing our final gig at our favourite venue in Bristol (nay, anywhere!), The Croft. Playing with us will be some favourites of ours Big Joan, MyOwnFlag and Bullwhip. At the gig we'll have our final recording available for £1, which takes the shape of a 2-track split personality CD containing the tracks Action Beast and Oaf Juice. It's slightly demented. The gig is only £2 to get in and the awesome poster for it is below. Come along and share a final oaf juice with us and cry if you want to. We will.
Cheers all, it's been a fookin' pleasure. WTA xx

If you buy it from the link above then you're buying it direct from us, the label aren't taking a cut - so its a bit like Fair Trade for struggling musicians.

Thank you very much, and sorry for making a mess of your profile. If its any kind of consolation, we don't have a MySpace bot, so I'm leaving these comments the old fashioned way. Three -and-a-half thousand of them. My life is so exciting.
Hope things are good with you. Sorry that you are drawing things to a close. Good luck with future projects. We’re playing a couple of tracks of yours on BBC Radio Bristol Introducing this Saturday morning between 1-4am (repeated on Sunday 1-4am), and of course we'll big up the gig too. Hear it “live” or online on the i-Player anytime in the 7 days after broadcast, there’s a link on our myspace profile.
