After the critically acclaimed debut record 'The Submarine' was released late in 2007, Lawrence Greenwood's songs began to work their way into the world through almost every medium. Due to word of mouth and a dynamic live show, it wasn't long before he was playing sold out venues to loyal fans at home and abroad.
In what seems a very short time Whitley has been voted as Rolling Stone Magazine's Top Ten Breaking Artist, completed endless sold-out Australian tours, played sold out shows across the USA and become a sweetheart of festival goers who generally get more than they bargained for. Shows varied from solo intimate acoustic shows to a six-piece band display of 'edgy power-pop on the verge of collapse'.
If you have missed Whitley so far, don't worry. He will be performing his new shows very soon all across the country, and it's safe to say his best work is yet to come in the form of his latest album Go Forth, Find Mammoth, an anticipated album that's due out this spring 2009. The wait is almost over! MORE INFORMATION COMING SOON...
