I can be inspired by mainstream, underground you name it. I really enjoy artists who believe in what they say in their lyrics and can put on a heck of a show.

On the fast track to stardom, Whitney Peyton is a twenty year old, Caucasian, female pop-rapper from the suburbs of Philly, PA. Beginning close to home and expanding throughout the East Coast, she has used her stage presence to capture a diverse fan base leading to becoming the top voted unsigned artist in her home state on MTV 2's "On The Rise" contest. Proving her work ethic and determination, Whitney has worked with an array of established artists and producers, including Leon Kidd (producer for 90’s hit rap group “Major Figgas”) and John Johnson (New Kids on the Block).
Starting at a very young age, Peyton’s impressive performance skills, won numerous talent competitions at local clubs. Her modern mixture of pop hooks and relatable mainstream rap verses make for a refreshing new genre she likes to call “Sub-urban Pop”. Equipped with a unique image, not usually associated with rap music, she has been interviewed, mentioned or played on various Philadelphia radio stations and regional college stations. Her media coverage doesn’t stop there. The young artist has independently landed various TV spots and swept the pages of multiple magazines and newspapers, some of which launched into national syndication.
Whitney was nominated in 2007 and 2008 for several Lehigh Valley Music Awards (PA) including “Best New Artist”, “Best Lyricist“, “Best Live Performer”, “Best Female Solo Artist” and “Best Hip Hop Performer”. She is proud to have already opened and performed with nationally recognized acts including Shop Boyz (“Party Like a Rock Star”), Tech N9ne, Paul Wall, Vanilla Ice, DMX, and more. In the summer of 2009 Whitney Peyton teamed up with popular clothing chain “Hot Topic” and headlined her own mall tour (sponsored by Shockhound.com) playing in-store performances at over fourteen “Hot Topic” locations in four states. After the well-received promotional tour came to a close Whitney wasted no time getting back on the road, this time with Platinum artist MIMS (“This is why I’m hot”) as his opening act for multiple locations in Ohio and Michigan in October 2009. Whitney’s passion for music and drive toward success ensures that her list of accomplishments continues to grow as fast as her following.

I had a weird dream. You released your album, and a magazine reviewed it and gave it two and a half stars. I'm not sure if it was a dream or not, but it doesn't say anything on your site about a new album. Hey, at least you got reviewed by People Magazine. That counts for something. P.S. You may have been in my dream, but it was just about your album. Nothing else, I swear ;)
