Well, i'm just a Swedish DJ that somehow ended up in Londontown a couple of years ago. I discovered a while before this that what I love the most in life is playing glitchy-filthy-acidic-electro-techno-melodic-bassy-beats for a hungry bouncy audience. To to be able to do this and to reach out I needed a platform, somewhere to try out my noise.
I met Fil OK and Miss Elly when I first moved to London and together we came up with a crazy idea. My first clubnight; SORRY WE KILLED YOU. And crazy it was... Being covered in pigsblood, having record bags stolen by cab drivers, getting electric shock treatments from the mixer, bar staff even more drunk than the punters(!), getting closed down by the council... SWKY, I luv U 4-ever!
I decided to return to my native Sweden early 2007 for something I called "a very long holiday...".
To your left and further down you can see videos + flyers from my night TÊTE À CLAQUES that I started soon after my arrival. This is where 2 go if u wanna treat urself to something special...! We started T.A.C. at Spy Bar, went on to Teatron and then to China Teatern. After a year of weekly clubbing we now do bigger one-off parties around town every other month or so.
T.A.C. is also part of a new project called T; a collaboration between 5 of the best clubs in Sweden in their field. We do one T-hursday each monthly at Berns.
I have also managed to get yet another new night started (hmm, it sounds like I'm very busy...). Ideas/feelings/thoughts that I've had in my head for 1,5 years since I decided to stay in Stockholm resulted in:
-MANIC PANIC
If you appreciate an amazing, bone shaking, clear, crispy soundsystem, a dark venue only lit up by lazer and strobe, getting camouflaged in big clouds of smoke... All this while you're dancing to your favourite techno tracks, discovering new ones, merging yourself with the music... You don't care about what the person next to you looks like, the only thing you know about him or her is that you're both there for the same reason: -Your love for techno.
