I was born June 20th, 1983 in South Phoenix, Arizona. My mother and older sister raised me in a single parent household. I lived a normal childhood, went to school, hung out went friends, played games, etc. Growing up I always loved reading and writing short stories. I remember at the age of 11 my younger cousin called me one day and said he wanted to become a rapper and wanted me by his side. I never really listened to music but decided to give it a try. I started writing song lyrics and rapping with him on handheld tape recorders but honestly didn't know what the hell I was doing. So I decided rapping wasn't for me, but I continued writing lyrics. It was a way for me to express myself in a new fashion. I would write notebook after notebook of lyrics and poetry of any and everything going on in my life.
At the age of 16, I got real sick for like 4 months. My mother kept taking me to local doctors to see what was wrong but they kept sending me home saying I just had a common cold that I couldn’t seem to get over. My mother didn’t believe them and kept taking me until some one had some better answers. One day a physician stumbled across the problem. I had an irregular heartbeat and I would need open heart surgery to correct it. It was tough hearing something like that at the age of 16. Most young boys at that age were chasing girls and getting into trouble and here I was in a life or death situation. I learned at that moment that life is too short and you never know what tomorrow might bring.
After the surgery my passion for music started to grow. I started working with several local guys I knew that were into music, learning what I can along the way. In 2004 I decided to take matters into my own hands and start up my own label from the ground up. So I started by putting together my own home studio. Its not a top of the line $100,000 studio, but it gets the job done for now.
In 2006 I decided it was time to get in the public’s eye and show them my talent. Thru the help of MySpace I started finding local promotion companies that were booking local talent for local gigs. I started doing gigs with any and every promotion company that would give me a shot. It got to the point where I was performing nearly 3 shows a week. I got to perform at various locations form the Big Fish Pub in Phoenix to Club Next in Scottsdale to The Boardwalk in Flagstaff. I started getting real positive feedback from local musicians how saw my talent and passion for my music.
In October I got selected to audition for A&R’s Artist Showcase. Over 150 acts Hip-Hop & Rock audition for a slot on the showcase and I was one of only 20 acts selected. The showcase was December 1st at Alice Cooperstown and I was so excited that all my hard work over the years my finally get rewarded. I got up on stage and performed to the best of my ability and got the crowd behind me. After the show I was approached by an A&R from a major record label, and he told me I was very talented, but my image wasn’t marketable. It broke my heart to be right there with my foot in the door and get turned away because I didn’t look and carry myself like your average gangster rapper you see on T.V. At the moment I realized that it wasn’t necessarily talent that got you in the industry, but your look and overall marketability compared to what’s “hot” in the industry right now. I decided I still wanted to be in the music industry because of my undying passion for it, but I was so burned out on recording and the fakeness that comes with it.
In 2007 I enrolled into The Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences, and it was probably one of the best decisions I’ve made. My goal now is to take the industry by storm and raise the bar in MC'ing/Producing/Engineering and anything else I can get my hands on. Let the world now I'm a problem, just wait until it's my turn..

Happy Holidays to you. Be well. I've read that the holidays can be very depressing to some. If you know someone like that, share this with them :)
1 of the most effective "natural cures" ever documented (really) 4 depression...
Have them stand in front of a mirror...smile...bigger...no, even bigger...that's it...an honest to goodness ear 2 ear smile! Look at you...standing there...strong...powerful...nothing is impossible for you...no limitations...you are the earth...you are the sky...and they are you...now, laugh...bigger...one of those gut bursting, side hurting, deep belly laughs...that's it. :)
Sometimes when i look around, all i see is misery, despair, frustration and pain...
Then, i close my eyes, take a couple deep breaths, RELAX...And ask myself, "WHAT IF all I saw was what I WANTED TO SEE?" Then, I open my eyes. I see the sun, I see the blue sky, I see my girls smiling back at me, I see life...
And then, lo and behold, I see nothing but OPPORTUNITY...
