Writing, music, podcasting, aardvark costumes, huge cigars, you know - the same stuff everyone likes.
Music
The older I get, the more diverse my musical tastes are. I listen to anything from opera to
'80s hair bands to independent Icelandic folk artists (that one's for you, Kalli), depending on my mood.
Books
Let's go "Authors" instead.
Dave Barry, Daniel Pinkwater, Rick Reilly, Shel Silverstein, Douglas Adams and Markus Zusak, who I didn't expect great things from and got them anyway.
About me: John Chambers has been an amateur musician, poet, supermarket cart/buggy fetcher, supermarket manager, college tutor, truck driver, salesman, clock maker, warehouse organizer, lawn mower and once was hired to work at a produce stand but never showed up.
These days, he's a husband, father, a writer who would love to be an author, an amateur musician with slightly more ability than before, humorist and compulsive email checker. Also, he's spent the last 20 years avoiding the owner of the produce stand.
He has a web site called JPChambers.com that you should definitely take a look at and a blog at fiveisenough.wordpress.com which is updated a bit more frequently.
Thanks for the b-day wishes! Yep, I was at that Soul game on Monday night. They were making a charge and fumbled at the 1........after that, it was over! Oh well, 6 more home games to go!
