.. C.E.L (Combining Extraordinary Lyrics) born Matthew Nathaniel Reeves in Staten Island New York was destined to be something great from birth. Though he was born 4 months too early it seemed to be a sign of things to come. (He would continue to be ahead of his time for the rest of his life.) Doctors predicted that he would be retarted and have severe respiratory problems. That would become one of many things that he would overcome in his life. Introduced to drugs and the allure of the streets at the age of 9 he would quickly be forced to make a decision at the age of 14 after the police raided his home. Feeling the need for answers he made his way to a local church. And the rest is history. He now stands before you as a man with a message not to preach but to provide a way out. Music today seems to be subject to extremes in Gospel it's all Jesus no real life. In the secular world its either all party or all gangster and no reality. Thats where C.E.L comes in his music is a balance between everyday struggles and solutions. Thats what music should be about 100% reality 0% fiction.
