   About The Kittens
A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE KITTENS in reverse order:

THIS YEAR-Kittens commence recording debut LP casually entitled "Old Songs" in a converted 'fank' some 30 miles into the wilderness of Morvern, West Scotland. (see pics)

LAST YEAR- Kittens invited to play 2 wonderful live dates in North Portugal (see pics)

THE YEAR AFTER THAT-FANTASTIC PLASTIC release Happy Christmas From The Kittens on 7" split with Fyfe from Guillemots after delightful live performance at Scala in support of said band

SOME MONTHS LATER-STOLEN RECORDS ask to include Kittens song on their first compilation

THE END OF THE NEXT FEW YEARS-Big news band disband but Kittens live strong. 'Culchie sound' discovered, various attempts at rushed cross country recording made, culminating in a hungry weekend at Lone Pigeon's Fife hideaway

THE NEXT FEW YEARS-Mills preserves his sanity by exchanging songs with Munro via cassettes in the post. The songs become ballads, the songwriters become The Kittens

THE YEAR AFTER THE YEAR DOT-Mills moves to London to join big news band from home town of Enniskillen

THE YEAR DOT-Mills and Munro meet in a bar in Edinburgh/form punk band Peashooter

Hey BM - how's it going? Silent film thing sounds interesting - maybe I could do that old Russian film I scored for piano, violin & cello. Only thing is Chris the cellist is not too well at the moment - when is it?? Jxx
