 last post of the reunion it's moved to August 25th and then probably not check out this last thing that was posted on fb.   see what happened. I had 9 people traveling. I had already reached the end of contacting all the varelas and no one else was answering. Mary, Genes' wife and Genecito were next, The rest I only had addresses to send announcements. So really the pressure was that if these people couldn't come it would only be El Paso people. At that point about 5 families had committed. That's only 125.00 and not enough for a hall. why i panicked. Truely sorry for the vote. No wonder Gary said I have to win the lottery. went to buy a ticket. lol He would have to win about 45 to 100 million to retire all of us so we can meet when ever the heck we want. I'm sorry I quit. Moving the date was not such a bad idea, and forgive me for trying to make sense of it without sounding condenscending. The Santos are mourning. We're really lucky that they're doing this. If my tio and tia are aging and this is why we took this speed, they had years to create a reunion and have never done it. Everyone had great intentions, everyone especially the Santos. I'm not a bad person either, I saw it decrease really fast. I remember imagining myself in a room with only 5 families. Aww why is everyone so difficult to find. Where in the world is Mario, Soschmilko, Magoo, Mandito, Frankie, Fernie, Ida, where are they? Chavelo? I called so many people and kept revising revising trying not to forget one. And everyone is so private. I don't think we should give up. I don't blame you for being dissappointed. More realistically, if we let Licha do her thing and give her enough time to create the most awesome reunion that you'll never forget we can do it. I say New Years of 2014. Most people take their vacation for the Holidays, you can't say no I'm gonna be with my family? huh? and it give us a year to get started on this Christmas. We can even make it a game. Try and see if we can get christmas cards from family to collect their address and phone numbers and current pictures for the video. Family letters of why your christmas this year was more special than yours. What do you say? I hope you say you forgive me please for freaking out that the date was changed. I refuse to say we are too many...Like mana use to say. The funny guys making things lighter said una tortilla y un weinee, that means that we will settle for water to see each other. The desire is great! We woke up Bullit! And that's hard to do! I ask you for your consideration and deepest forgiveness for the roller coaster we just went through. But it did do something!!! Shook our world. We want to see everyone! So you have a year full year to help find these people. have them send christmas card through the mail with pictures.
