WHO'S RENOWN is the UK renowned tribute band to THE WHO. Together for over 10 years (the first 3 years as a Rock Covers band), They have spent the last 7 years touring the whole UK as a tribute to rock legends, THE WHO. Formed out of the school days of precision fingered Bass player, Pete Hawksworth and Guitarist (Lead and Rhythm rolled into one), Mick Bowen; the band fully formed in early 1998 with the arrival of John Starling's relentless Drum rhythms and the nuclear powered lungs of Lead Vocalist Carl James. They use no sampling or keyboards only two guitars, drums and vocals, to try to create a sound that is true to the spirit of "The Who".
