About me:

I work full time as an EMT. I live and breathe EMS. I even listen to the scanner when I'm not working! It's always been a calling of mine to take care of folks when they are sick and hurt, not only physically, but emotionally and spiritually also. I hope to eventually get my Paramedic, get my field experience and qualifications I need, then become a Flight Medic. I love to study religions in general, and I consider myself an Eclectic Pagan, though I lean heavily towards Wicca. I'm a First Degree Initiate in the Sanima Tradition of Witchcraft. I love learning about alternative medicine (I practice Reiki), old wives tales, superstition and how folks lived long ago. I'm very much into social protest and I love a good rally where I end up in a picture on the front page of the paper! Like Green Day says in their song "Do You Know The Enemy" I believe "Silence is the Enemy"! I'm into tattoos and piercings. Have 9 tattoos so far, and 10 piercings. I'm pretty much finished with the piercings, but the ink, not so much; got a few more planned.

    I know right...i feel so old every time i go up there for something..and the fact that i coach cheerleading and all the girls that are on the team from Bragg always walk up and hug me and say HEY COACH AMBER!!! hahahaha it is so amazing to see my daughter going to the same school i did...and its funny cause we live in marion but i did school choice to send her there too...thats a whole different story though i wanted her to know that not all kids are rich, white and get what they want(hence marion)...so i wanted her to know of different cultures, colors, backgrounds and learn to be grateful for what she has (hence Bragg) they are so much more diverse you know...anyway this is a long comment i should have msgd you instead huh??? LOL

    I got a calender for Christmas called Wild Words for Wild Women. It is one of those square ones that you tear off a page everyday. Some are funny while some are lame and contraversial. That is why I didnt post the one Sunday.

    Yea, I was feeling pretty rough...I was dog sitting and by the time I got over there and took care of them I had to lay down and rest. It's getting better, but I still feel pretty crappy. I think Mia just overslept.
