If you'd like some Whynot bass or guitar or vocals on your song but aren't anywhere near me, there's always the possibility of a remote collaboration through the wonders of the internet. The album 'Hideaway' by The Weepies is one example -- I recorded all of the bass tracks, as well as guitars on 'Wish I Could Forget', 'All Good Things', 'Not Dead Yet', 'Lighting Candles' and 'Takes So Long' in New York or on the road while The Weepies were getting tans (actually, making babies) in LA.
Please feel free to send me a message if you'd like to find out more.

Hello nice people. My name is Whynot and I'm a bass player. I also play guitar and keys and I sing. Among the talented people I've toured, performed and/or recorded with are The Weepies, Gavin DeGraw, Jonatha Brooke, David Mead, Vertical Horizon, Schuyler Fisk, Pete and J, Emerson Hart (Tonic), Pete Francis (Dispatch), Teddy Thompson, Wayne Krantz and The Crash Test Dummies. Head over to www.whytunes.com to view show details, hear more mp3s of various artists I've worked with, view a selected discography, see some pictures, and find out what else is new and noteworthy in my world. Or you can check out my music page on facebook or follow me on Twitter.
While you're at it; could you maybe bring along any of the artists you toured with the last couple of months? We're really lacking interesting shows over here... Thanks ;)
Hey brotha! Got your message last month. Was in Europe since late June, then toured the states. Just back now. Sorry I missed you out here. I'll be in NYC in Sept. Looks like you'll be out! Maybe someday we'll play a groove like we did in Hugh Wilsons band. :-)
