The greatest virtue a man can poses is compassion. If he can forgive his enemies, he can forgive himself.

You wouldn’t recognize the darkness if you’ve never been exposed to light. So is the world not recognizing the darkness it’s in - never having felt the breath of sunlight. It walks blindly deeper into the abyss. My sole comfort is that death is simply a catalyst for rebirth.

"Why should I love God? He strung up his only son like a side of veal. I shudder to think what he'd do to me."

Like everything else in this world, religion was created to distraction to life with promises of grandeur and threats of eternal damnation. Religion is the greatest oxymoron (with emphasis on the 'moron'). It bases its beliefs on the power of free will. But lets take a look at this so called "choice" we have. Be good and do as you're told... vs... eternal damnation. Pain and suffering beyond any you have ever experienced until the end of the world. Thats not much of a choice, is it?

What's "God"?
Well, you know, when you want something really bad and you close your eyes and you wish for it? God's the guy that ignores you.

Religion tells me that god will answer my prayers in one of three ways. 1. he will give me what I pray for, 2. he will give me what I pray for later, 3. he will not give me what I pray for (for his own divine reasons which I'm not permitted to question)

Lets take a look at this.. shall we? Lets say I chose to pray to a roll of toilet paper. "Oh, your holiest of holy toilet paper. I ask you for a thousand dollars." Three things can happen here.
1. A thousand dollars could appear in front of me... followed my great celebration and much rejoice. (but I doubt it)
2. I get my tax returns a month from now and they send me a check for a thousand dollars.. I'll have to remember to thank my toilet paper god for fucking with the IRS.
3. I get no thousand dollars... my toilet paper god deemed me unworthy of such gifts.


There are no other possible outcomes. Therefore to say that my toilet paper god will answer every prayers is the same as saying shit will just happen, but if it makes you feel better, you can sit up late at night talking to yourself about it.

So, thats my little shpeal on religious babble and I won't say another word about it.

Words you should never forget. If ever there is something in your life you aren't happy with, it is entirely in your power to change it. All it takes is a little conviction. I am exactly who I want to be. My choices create who I am. I refuse to let it all go to luck.

On a side note, I'm a vegetarian and nothing you say or do will make me believe that torturing, killing and devouring animals is ethical. The way you love your cat or dog, I love animals, I don't want to eat them...
