Music
www.WickedRock.co.za is proof of my musical passion.
I'm ecletic. There's a part of me that enjoys oldie tracks from artists like Janis Joplin, Mamas and Papas, Depeche Mode etc. but for the majority, rock 'n roll rules with so many forms.
I've got respect for everything from PAIN OF SALVATION, SLIPKNOT, PINK FLOYD, OTEP, AT THE DRIVE-IN, IRON MAIDEN, THE USED, THE DOORS and MARILYN MANSON to JACK OFF JILL, THE CURE, OUR LADY PEACE, DREDG, TOOL, SOAD, PEARL JAM, and the mind blowing BLUE OCTOBER.
In South Africa, my favourites are N.I.P., RORY ELIOT, SHEEP DOWN, DOPESCAPE (now defunct), HABIT TO, CONTRAST THE WATER, JO DAY, NIP, FETISH, MENAGE A TROIS and CANNON TO WHISPER (also dead).
Originality is greatly appreciated. Selected tracks from artists like THE BLOOD BROTHERS, THE ARCADE FIRE, DRESDEN DOLLS, GOD FORBID and THE STILETTO FORMAL get my mind ticking and my heart excited.

Who I'd like to meet: Intelligent people who care about the world, love music and can appreciate a good book or poem. They must also understand and accept that the greatest lessons are learnt in darkness.
Hey babe. What's new? Something fantastic, I hope.
A friend of mine is coming to Africa on a business trip. He's a fantastic guy. I think he said he's coming in July...maybe June. I'm so jealous and wish I could go with him. He mentioned Durban.
I told him about you. Not that there are so few people in Durban that you'll run into eachother.. but, I dunno. I thought it was neat. He's on my friends list. He has two profiles, either 6minus5 of sumone.
Anyway, things are still going well for us. I'm working hard and everyone else is enjoying the benefits. ha. I can't lie, I enjoy doing things for/with my family.
One day I will be able to make a trip to Durban. Hopefully sooner rather than later. We'll see with the next few years have in store.
Take good care of yourself and thanks for all the interesting emails. I love how you keep others informed and I appreciate it.
Hello Love. I'd really enjoy seeing the photo's you took. Especially the naturally sexy ones. ;)
I love doing things like that. Animal sanctuaries and nature preserves are just fantastic places to go. We don't go to ours often because it's very small and I don't want to bore the kids with the same animals every other week. But we go about once every 4-6 months. This way it stays interesting.
I want to go to the zoo soon. That place is mighty expensive and way too big for me to go alone with 5 rugrats.
As far as affording my dental procedure... we just got our tax return. Otherwise I'd still be sitting here with an ice pack on my face. :(
Thanks for your reply. I always love to see your handsome face on my.. uh.. blog. :D
Ok so my friend said he wasn't fond of the 3WA track when I initially told him about it, but he's playing it on his radio show now, so apparently it grew on him. http://community.loudcity.com/stations/world-of-roleplayers-radio/files/show/launch.htm
I'm just a ray of fucking sunshine, aren't I? Goddess has a way of throwing things in my path to remind me that things could be a whole lot worse. I'm still an emo drama queen though.
Jeez Mike, I need to remember to check my spelling & my facts! I was talking about Somalia, I'm sure you figured that out. I was reading about Afgooye and Mogadishu, to be more specific. AND it was 2 helicopters (not planes) that were shot down in 1993 (not 1996). I actually remember being 12 and 13 and watching news programs about Somalia. I knew 1996 didn't sound right.
Hey babyluv. What's happenin? Thanks for being the one and only responder to my blog. I get lots of reads everyday, no responses. I don't mind, since most of what I say is just ramblings. But I hate private messages telling me I should censor myself or be more "lady-like." HAHAHAHA riiight
I haven't opened your emails yet because I HAVE NO SPEAKERS AGAIN. My kids DESTROY SHIT. And for some reason I haven't been able to open the pic files you send me. It's possible that I haven't rid my computer of every virus it had and that's why.. or my computer is lame. Probably both. I will check these ones you just sent though.
I've been reading a lot about Somali and it's just awful. I hate to see this kind of suffering. The article in The New York Times says that in 1996 (i think) the USA tried to help but pulled out after two of our planes were shot down. Gee, wish that woulda worked in Iraq.
Hey babe! Do I owe you an email? errr, I can't remember now. I've been busy working/volunteering/mommying. :) What's new with you? I miss your blogs :( ((((((hugs)))))))
Hi, <br>Check out my cool celebrity look-alikes on <a href="http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=121271268&blogID=306617226&Mytoken=EB6C8DCE-B20D-4DA3-AD96DA3C2A1089574644280">my blog</a>
Thought I'd drop by and say hi before my mind wanders away again :) Sooo...
Hi! Oh yeah, and I like the new pic.
And yeah, hypocrisy...you don't agree with me, I'll delete your comment. Wouldn't it have been more effective (and have looked better on their part) to have stated that they disagreed and why? Ah, well...
Hey, handsome! Just wanted to say hello to my favorite "sinner" on MySpazz. I'm behind on my email...promise I'll read all of yours first! Love you ~ Rhonda
