Wicked Sins was formed, by the songwriting team of Dyer Knight and Parker Breckenridge, in March of 1998. The goal was to write Guitar Driven Melodic Rock songs and find highly skilled musicians to perform the music thus creating the Ultimate Hard Rock / Melodic Rock band. For the remainder of 1998 they committed themselves to writing numerous hard rock/melodic rock songs and ventured into the recording studio in 1999. On a very tight budget the band created a disc that launched them into the extremely competative music scene. The original disc from 1999 had a very limited pressing and had become highly sought after by fans. That desire for the disc prompted Dyer and Parker to agree that the disc should be re recorded to give fans a higher quality version of the songs and include new material they had written together. In 2002, Dyer and Parker parted ways agreeing that Dyer should keep Wicked Sins alive! Dyer reformed the band and continued touring and auditioning new members. In 2004, Dyer purchased a professional recording studio in hopes of recording a new Wicked Sins disc. In the months after buying the studio Dyer met Ken Kelly. It was apparent to both of them after meeting that they had similar tastes in music and the same musical goals. Now as a strong musical team, Dyer and Kenny began recording a new Wicked Sins disc. They slowly became frustrated with the quality of their labor and agreed that they needed a producer. The band believed that Robert Benci would be the talented producer they needed to make the disc they desired. After bringing in Mr. Benci to produce the album he began working with drummer Donnie Troy Skiff and bassist Dyer Knight to get a very tight rhythm section for the recording. Wicked Sins, after a short tour in early 2007, locked themselves in the studio to record the disc they had always dreamed of. Dyer Knight, Ken Kelly and Donnie Troy Skiff spent 2 years in the studio recording the new Wicked Sins cd. In 2008, before the cd was finished, Wicked Sins took some time to record a music video for "You And I" a song featured on the new disc. Dyer, Kenny, Donnie and Rob agreed that with all of the work on the new recordings they would need another strong musician to help fill out the live sound. They then asked Parker to return to the band he was instrumental in creating and he accepted. Wicked Sins now with a complete line up and a new disc started preparing to tour. The celebration of the new disc was quickly silenced as drummer Donnie Troy Skiff was murdered shortly after the new cd was mastered. Dyer and Kenny had to put the band on hiatus as they recovered from the heart wrenching loss of Donnie. The band looked to friends of other high profile bands to help find a new drummer. After a few suggestions they found their new musical soul mate in Rod Foxx. The band now once again complete is preparing to tour and release the highly anticipated new Wicked Sins disc. Wicked Sins was created by musicians striving to create high quality guitar driven melodic hard rock music. The musicians over the years may have changed or returned but the goal and quality of musician's involved has always been the same. Wicked Sins is preparing to release the new disc in late 2009.
