Described variously as 'dark indie', 'Morrissey-esque' and 'post-punk rockers', The Wick Effect were formed in the autumn of 2008; the current line up has been together since October 2009.
We're now playing regularly on the busy Leeds/Bradford scene, having played at various venues across both cities throughout the spring of 2010. Other gigs are now confirmed for The Leeds Festival Fringe at The Royal Park Cellars (in the lead up to the Leeds & Reading festivals), and at other venues across the city through to the end of the year.
We've just finished our latest studio session with Andy Hawkins (Pigeon Detectives, The Damned) producing - "Go", "Been Let Down" and "Everknowing" are now online - enjoy!.

The events you may be able to see (I can see them) on 14th May and 17th June have been cancelled - well, they were never actually confirmed - but we still appear to be playing at "Cancelled" bar in Newcastle and The Pulse Bar in Barnsley.
