After two and a half years and over 80 shows, Widdlesworth has decided to move on. A lot has gone down within the last couple months and although there have been attempts to pull the pieces together, ultimately the decision was made to lay this project aside.
Approximatly four months ago, Tony and Ricky approached the rest of the band and told them that they had decided to leave. Both of them felt as if God was calling them away from the band to pursue other things. Chris S. also decided to leave at that time. This left only Ryland and Chris K. (although the other members agreed to finish playing the shows that had already been booked for the summer months.) Ryland and Chris continued to practice regularly and write songs. They also began looking for musicians to replace the ones who left. After months without any luck in finding replacements, Ryland was offered a position as lead vocalist in the band Inhale Exhale on Solid State Records. Feeling frustrated and hopeless with the current condition of Widdlesworth, Ryland has decided to pursue this new direction.
With that being said, all of us wanted to say thank you to all of you who have supported us. To our friends and families and to all of our fans. Sharing these last few years with all of you has been a blessing to us and we hope that our music has been a blessing to you. Thank you for the memories. "We've packed our bags and now we're out of here. We'll miss you all. We still hold you dear."
God Bless,
WW
