Sagitario	May 24 2008 5:27 PM Wow. You know, I happen to have been researching Mariachi outfits for about a month now. Not really the garish, traditional Jalisco type, but the more subtle Charro style that Kris Kristpoherson sports in "Songwriter", co-starring Willie Nelson. And ever since the honeymoon, I've been looking for the type of flamenco guitar strap used by Mariachi. It is a loop worn around the neck which goes underneath the guitar, reaches up the front, and clips into the sound hole via a little plastic hand. Almost impossible to find outside of the southwest. There doesn't appear to be a good Mariachi supply shop offering its wares on the internet. Next time I go to Mexico, I'd like to visit Guadalajara, where they make all of the guitars, vihuelas and guitarrons. I'm so not kidding.
