Formed in mid 2008, Widow The Sea have set themselves aside from a vast growing number of Australian metal bands by adopting a modern take on the Swedish death metal sound of fast melodic guitars, technical drumming and vicious vocals. Solidifying it's line-up in early 2009, Widow The Sea are continuing to break away from heavy music's generic clichés and breakdown saturated formulas, focusing on writing more relentless, aggressive death metal. I probably would have been a bit more motivated to go if I knew any of the bands other than you guys. Um, they played a small show at Burliegh Underground Drummers, just them and one other band, maybe about 50 people, it was pretty hectic though. Im really looking forward to the new stuff, groove is good enough for me. I cant imagine you guys attempting a breakdown haha. Is it physically possible?
Yeah, I was close to going but I was so dead from the night before. My mates band played in burliegh so I was up all night editing photo's and all that jazz. An EP would be sick man, that would be so sweet. Still no breakdowns?
