All time favorite movie to motivate me to want a better lifestyle...The Thomas Crown Affair...love that movie!! As we haven't had cable for almost a year now, we have amassed a few movies we watch regularly.They have become like old friends, and we have enjoyed watching them over again, whcih is something I never thought I'd like...next I might start rereading books!! Anyway, some of the current faves include: Mamma Mia; Sex and The City; A Love Song for Bobbie Long; After The Sunset; The Lake House; Michael; City of Angels; Fools Gold; The Day After Tomorrow;And all the Pirates flicks of course!!!Books
In a way, I can credit Stephen Covey with the mission I am on now. Since going through the First Things First program and reading the 7 Habits, the 8th Habit, Principled Centred Leadership, etc...I have been consumed by "Creating a Legacy", helping others "Find their Voice", expanding my knowledge by "Sharpening the Saw" and on it goes. I owe Mr. Covey a lot for the direction my life has taken and for giving me the courage to do what I knew to be right and stand behind my convictions.He's a great man..buy his books :)Think and Grow Rich by Napolean Hill, a timeless testament to the mindset necessary to create the life you want.
Ok, and on the side of total Whimsy is my other personal guide/baromoter..Mr. Jimmy Buffett. Need I say more? To read or listen to anything from this man is to set upon a life's course of fun, frivolity, and of course Rum...
