Andy Warhol's Wig Ne Diyor? |
Hakkımda:
I can't even remember when Andy started wearing me- some say 1955, others say 1963. It was a while ago, and my memory isn't that great, you know? I did a lot with Andy- we traveled the world, met lots of really neat people, went to parties, painted, published, made movies, wrote books, took pictures, hung out with "the kids," went to church, shopped 'til we dropped (well, until I drooped...)
I like to think that I helped give Andy "attitude." He wanted to hide under me, but really I just made him more conspicuous. What can I say? I've never been shy!!! I think he liked it- he was an introverted extrovert. Over the years Andy's fame grew, and I became more outrageous. At the end, I was bigger, longer, and glossier than ever! Did I become wilder and crazier because of Andy's fame, or did Andy become more famous because I was so wild and crazy? I don't know.
I do know that without me, Andy would still be a great artist and a cool guy, but without Andy I would just be a funny, platinum wig. So thanks, Andy- it was a wild ride!
