The Dalai Lama. I like him lots.
"There is no need for temples, no need for complicated philosophies. My brain and my heart are my temples; my philosophy is kindness"
We can all learn a lot from this man. Exiled from his own country, his followers imprisoned and tortured for "crimes" such as owning a picture of him and yet he feels no anger. Anger is not necessary to campaign for justice. A heart of pure love, compassion and mindful wisdom. You can't help but be amazed by this man no matter what your religious beliefs are...
I'm an emphatic supporter of the Free Tibet campaign.
To learn more about the plight of Tibetan people under the hands of the Chinese government click here and donate some money, buy a t-shirt or just tell your Mum about it or something :)
***Clickhereto find out how you can campaign for Tenzin Delek Rinpoches release***
***Clickhereto sponsor a Tibetan refugee child. It costs as little as 50 English punds to educate a child for one year and it will make you feel like a nice person :)***
All photos taken by me. Get in touch if you'd like me to take some shots for you. I've recently started selling some of my photos which is rather exciting :) It does however mean I have to be anal now and say things like please don't use my shots without permission. Merci!

As you know, the January issue 60 of THE TALK Magazine was the final hard copy print issue of THE TALK Magazine under current ownership. As the Magazine is now for sale I am arranging for a suitable deal to be struck and a smooth handover to suitable new owners. It is important that the magazine is back under your noses very soon and that it still maintains the high level of commitment to information alongside individuality and character as it always has.
So, until the changeover is finalised THE TALK Magazine will be producing an interim publication which will be LIST. With the same print run of 3000 and being distributed to the same outlets as THE TALK Magazine, LIST will carry all your Music and Arts events for the Yorkshire region.
Produced by THE TALK Magazine stable, LIST will keep you going for the time being.
Please submit information regarding March events before the print deadline which is the 10th of February.
..and our very own Cyrus Crashtest will also be web-pulishing his popular OPINIONATED* column through SPHERE webzine as a FREE PDF download to help keep yer tastebuds all moist! (*available within 24 hours of this posting!) http://www. spheremag. co. uk http://www. myspace. com/spheremaguk
