The Wilberforce Connexion is a project devised by Dave Okwesia and others, in collaboration with Full Flava Music Ltd and wide selection of exciting and diverse musicians, bands and groups based in Hull, that were brought together to produce a special World Music compilation CD/DVD.
The CD/DVD will be launched at Lazzat's (Cottingham) on Sunday 6th September 2009. The launch which will be in the form of a family event starting at 1pm, and will include performances from the artists on the compilation. There will also be a raffle draw during the event.
The Cd is available to buy in Hull at The Ferens Art Gallery, The Hands on History Centre, The Hull & East Riding Museum & Zest.
