These dogs are an important member of our anti-poaching squad and desperately need more funding to address their nutritional and health requirements, and to ensure the safety of the sniffer dogs by constructing a secure home for them - their lives have been threatened due to their success.

Every year thousands of endangered animals are killed for their skins, ivory, fins, and other body parts to satisfy the global market for illegal wildlife products. WildAid’s goal is simple and specific, to
eliminate the illegal wildlife trade and allow threatened species to recover to safe levels.
We believe that the ecological damage, cruelty and corruption involved in the illegal wildlife trade are both unnecessary and morally unacceptable - that these activities constitute a theft from future generations.
We believe that it is the duty of both the governments and citizens of wealthier nations to provide technical and financial support to less wealthy nations to protect our common heritage.
We want a world where our invaluable natural riches are not ravaged, one in which local communities can improve their lives without destroying their environment, and where humanity can survive together with wildlife for generations to come.
BE AWARE! YOU CAN HELP!
Educate yourself and others on how local threats impact the global ecosystems.
* Never buy products that come from endangered species and tell your family and friends to do the same.
* Avoid food that comes from endangered species like shark fin and turtle soup, tiger meat and bear paws.
* Seek alternatives to traditional medicine that contain extracts of tigers, bears, sharks and rhinos.
* If you see products from endangered species on sale, inform the relevant authorities.
* Warn potential buyers of these products that they risk fines and jail if they are caught.
* Share our trafficked species guide with others; awareness is the first step for change!

Galapagos Forever - The underlying philosophy of WildAid’s ‘Galapagos Forever’ program is to ensure the integrity of the Galapagos ecosystems by providing direct support to local initiatives that reduce poaching, educate Ecuadorians on environmental management issues and create sustainable economic alternatives compatible with conservation goals
Maddox Jolie Pitt (MJP)- MJP is a conservation and community development organization in rural Cambodia that provides direct support to the local villages, endangered wildlife and habitats to achieve a sustainable path to economic development, balancing conservation and economic rejuvenation.
Shark Conservation Program (SCP) - WildAid's Shark Campaign seeks to reduce the threats to sharks caused by over-fishing and over-consumption of shark products and by wasteful practices such as finning and needless bycatch.

So I sat today and thought about a lot and I feel it is necessary to thank all my friends for being there for me and being in my life. Yes maybe it seems corny that some are only on the internet..
