Bill Nelson- Guitar and Vocals,
The Band is made up of a swirling cast of characters who drift in and out of the frame when they are not touring or otherwise engaged. The usual supsects are: Jammin Joe Shahda on bass, and Mark Sherman on drums: two guys that stay real busy playing in clubs, and honky tonks all around Houston. However, I have also had the absolute priviledge and joy of working with the incredibly talented Paul Byron (vocalist, bassist, and keyboardist extraordinaire) as well as the slamminest Mighty Mike Deluco, on the skins! I have to thank: Love it to Death, CRASH, The Rhythym Kings, and Pat Travers for loaning me the talented Paul and Mike, on many gigs and studio sessions. Also, last but not least, I have had the joy and honor of having the incredible vocalist Miss Joanna Santana work with us on many live dates, and she also makes a couple of appearances on the record!
Appearing on the record are:Andy Andrus, Mike Solina, drums and bass on: "Dog Face Blues," "Blind Side," "Going Down," "NOLA," Knocking on Heaven's Door," and "Tomorrow Never Knows." Paul Byron, and Mike DeLuco: bass and drums on "Mojo in the Morning," "Leaving Houston," "The Visitor," "Lady on the Hill," "Muddy Brazos River Bottom Blues," and "Down in the Quarter," (Electric Version!) Miss Joanna Santana: sizzling sassy vocals on "Knocking on Heaven's Door," and "Going Down!"--- Also, a very special thanks to Producer extraordinaire, Mike BBQ, for his ProTools wizardry, and overall good vibe, not to mention the best studio mics in town! "Muddy Brazos River Bottom Blues," was recorded and mastered by Mike BBQ, at Big Door Studios, Webster, Texas.

"Muddy Brazos River Bottom Blues" - NOW AVAILABLE ON CD BABY.com!!!
We are very pleased to announce that the highly anticipated "Muddy Brazos River Bottom Blues," is now available!
If you like a mish-mash gravy consisting of Blues, Jam, and Psychedelia, with an Undeniable Hard Edge, we think you are going to like "Muddy Brazos River Bottom Blues!"
It is a collection of songs based on my travels through the labyrinth of colors and flavors that can only be found along the Gulf Coast, from New Orleans, all the way down to Mexico!
I have been everywhere, but I always come back to the Brazos River Valley. There is no place that can compare to the weirdness, soul, and all round experience of South Texas! It is home. We are offering this record as a document for posterity, so that someone somewhere will know how we boogied, bled, lived and died, on the sweet red mud of the Texas Gulf Coast!
You can buy the songs from the record, through SNOCAP (as found on this page,) or on the SNOCAP, or IMEEM websites. You can also buy hard copy discs from me at our shows, starting at the CD Release Party, at SUMMER BURN FESTIVAL (check my calendar for more details!)
ALSO- THE CD "Muddy Brazos River Bottom Blues," is now available at CD BABY.com!!!
