About me: Wild Card Kitty: Scotland's Showgirl Queen and self-styled Cheerleader of Chaos! Voted 4th Most Eligible Female in Scotland 2007
Winner of The Hottest Mess, Golden Pastie Award at NYBF 2009
Wild Card Kitty is an individual and original performer: Betty Grable, Lana Turner and Lucille Ball combine in this eclectic Pin-up Bombshell making her one of the most exciting and innovative performers around. She transforms from sultry screen siren to film comedienne before your very eyes with a cheeky wink and a charismatic smile. A firm favourite back home in Scotland where she's graced the cover of The List magazine; she’s has also charmed audiences internationally, wowing the crowds in much lauded appearances in Las Vegas at Miss Exotic World; Burlesque Hall of Fame weekends in 2008 & 2009, many guest appearances in New York and performing at the opening party for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2008 at the World Famous Spiegeltent. One of the Burlesque scene's cutest kittens and most versatile of vixens, it's only a matter of time before Wild Card Kitty captivates you too!
Kitty has been charming audiences and club goers since 2003 as one of Scotland's longest running Showgirls with the UK's longest running vintage club; Vegas! (12 yearsin October ) a club that takes place all over the UK and evokes the Rat Pack ethos of Las Vegas with a kitsch lougerati edge.
A talented Actress and Model, she is currently starring in 2 short films and a feature being released onto the Film Festival circuit, one of which she was written by herself! Having previously modelled for Stolen Model Agency in Scotland, she is also a model for Retro lingerie company; Cameo Intimates.
Kitty also hosted and produced Dr. Sketchy's Burlesque Life Drawing Class in Edinburgh from Dec 2007 to July 2008 and is currently working on her singing and MCing skills.
An accomplished Cabaret Producer she has produced Cabaret for the Belladrum: Heart of Tartan Festival 2008 and the World reknowned Vaudeville Cabaret Club and the Bongo Cabaret Club for their respective Edinburgh Fringe Festival runs in 2007 and 2008. In 2008 she also programmed the show: that's 3 weeks, 16 unique shows, 5 guest comperes and 96 individual Acts.

As you may or may not be aware SoundARC hold a charity gig every year at Club 85 in Hitchin in aid of the Garden House Hospice in Letchworth, and this year we are going to try something a little different from previous years.
This year we are going to take over the club and host 37 acts in one weekend putting full bands upstairs and acoustic acts downstairs in an event that we are calling ARCfest!
It all starts on Friday 4th December at 7pm and then continues on through Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th from 12pm-11pm
As well as raising money for the Garden House Hospice in Letchworth, ARCfest will showcase all the different genres of bands that we at SoundARC have come across over the last 4 and a half years. Over this weekend a lot of the acts that you will see don’t get a chance to play a great local venue like Club 85, So as well as hearing new music you will see all manors of genres and styles from acoustic - Metal - Indie - Rock - Punk - Electro - Ska - Funk - Hip Hop/Rap - Alternative - Rhythm & Blues - Reggae - Grunge and loads more that I cant remember!
I encourage you to support the campaign to incorporate a comprehensive study of racism into the American academic system, and make it a prerequisite for graduation, by writing your local and state representatives; the dept. of education in your state, and also by writing to the Attorney General at the US Justice Department, and President Barack Obama expressing your endorsement of this endeavor.
