Sounds LikeWild Dogs In Winter make slow-burning, intense, saddening music. Sparse guitars, minimal percussion and organs combine with aching vocals and caustic lyrics. After self-releasing their debut E.P in late 2008, Wild Dogs moved on from the basement studio project it began as, into a live band. They have received favourable comparisons to Arab Strap, A Silver Mount Zion and Sigur Ros from the illustrious Fat Cat Records and various magazines, webzines and radio DJs. Wild Dogs In Winter have spent 2009 touring and writing, and are currently recording their next CD ‘Homba’. It promises to be a dark and haunting listen, the new songs featured having been honed in the live environment. ‘Homba’ will be released on independent labels Fragile Famile (US) and Useless Armor (Belgium/Holland/Scandinavia) in January 2010. Wild Dogs in Winter will be booking tours throughout the new year in support of their new record.
