My name is Rick Marchand and I'm doing what I love to do, it is more than making a product, it has been a way of life and a way for me to express myself. I am an avid primitive skills and wilderness survival enthusiast. Much of my knowledge of the outdoors has come from living the skills and letting nature show me what works and what doesn't. I have a strong background in metal working having been employed in a machine shop for 13 years. This, along with a natural affinity for arts and crafts has given me the necessary tools to bring my visions to reality. I had been making gear as a hobby for approximately 15years before becoming a full time professional in October of 2007.
