A collaborative effort that started as an idea of Summer and Heidi in the summer of 2008. Forging ahead with this idea, we gathered some musicians, gathered some Tribal dancers, and see what happened!
The Hearth Festival has been rescheduled! September 5th is going to be too hot; we are booked for late September and most of October; November 7th is the date we are going to secure the amphitheatre.

Third Soli Drum and Dance Festival Comes to McKinney, May 22-25, 2009. Texas’ largest drum and dance festival, presented by Drums Not Guns, will be taking place May 22-25 in McKinney, TX. This unique event will offer visitors an extensive series of traditional West African drum and dance workshops conducted by world-renowned Djembe Masters and Dance Instructors. The festival will culminate in a Masters’ Grand Finale Performance on May 25 at the McKinney Performing Arts Center.
