FILM FESTIVAL SUBMISSIONS - FEES:
NEXT FILM FESTIVAL DEADLINE IS APRIL 30/2008

DEADLINES ARE ONGOING. SUBMISSION FEE $30

The RULES are simple:

1. Make a film. We screen SHORTS and FEATURES of any genre. Shorts should be no more than 25 minutes in length.

2. Fill out the form HERE:


3. Send a DVD of your film to WILDsound Film Festival 80 St. Clair Ave. East Suite 2309, Toronto, ON M4T 1N6.

4. Pay the $30 submission fee via the green button below or send a cheque payable to WILDsound Film Festival with your DVD.



5. OR if you’re a WITHOUTABOX person, click on the link below and do everything on your WAB account. Because of an increase in their fees, submissions processed through WAB are $35.



Even if your film is not selected, you will receive the comments of the viewing committee. The goal of the WILDsound Film Festivals is to help everyone involved grow as an artist, so we will offer some kind of constructive criticism whether or not we accept your entry for the formal festival.

Wildsound Film Festival is a monthly Toronto-based festival that prides itself on making sure the filmmaker not only gets his or her film screened in front of a large audience, but also benefits from gaining feedback during the Q&A from our special guest moderator who discusses each film with the audience. This film festival enables you, the filmmaker, to actually obtain honest feedback about what people think of your film. And you get to meet industry people who can help out your career so you can make more films and be a better overall filmmaker.

Taking the next step from our popular script reading series, our festival guarantees your film and/or screenplay will be screened and/or read in front of a large audience and you will receive honest feedback of your film and/or screenplay from industry people and just your average movie fan.

WHEN IS IT: The third week of every month. ALL YEAR LONG.

WHERE IS IT: Toronto, Ontario (if you can’t attend, we’ll email you transcripts of the comments and feedback from the industry attendees)

MISSION & OBJECTIVE
Our mission at Wildsound Film and Screeplay Festival is to make sure your film/script gets shown in front of a large broad audience and you can actually see what people think of your work. We then focus group it with the audience and our monthly guest moderator will facilitate the audiences questions. This is a festival of networking and positive creative communication so you can take your filmmaking/screenwriting career to the next level. Our moderators will be successful industry people who have moved up the ranks just like you will.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

This film festival ables the filmmaker and screenwriter to actually obtain an honest feedback of what people think of your film. And you get to meet industry people who can help out your career so you can make more films, write more scripts and be a better overall storyteller.
