WHR *02: Wild Stallions - "It's Your Mum Dude!" ***SOLD OUT!***
EP OF THE MONTH... from www.subba-cultcha.com
"As an offshoot from our favourite mentalists, Missiles Of Uncertain Destinations, I expected something fast, furious and utterly thrilling throughout, what I didnt account on was alien-like noises, robot voices, synth stabs that could wind a 120 pound goat at a hundred paces, and a sound thats totally uncompromising and absolutely un-top-able Genius, Genius, and for a third and final time (well, on this day at least) Genius!!!"
"Wild Stallions were amazing, especially that song about shitting yourself and they had good clothes."
"After lunch and a day and a half of good-natured and genuine fun, Wild Stallions' confrontational attitude is a little unpleasant. Exactly why frontman Zak insists on hitting out with his accordion, swinging a bar stool around and generally getting in folk's faces when his band’s synth-powered happy-grind does that to great effect anyway isn’t clear. Doesn’t stop ‘Inflammation…’ being a slice of twisted genius, mind." www.newnoise.net
"I can only guess this record is meant for the kids, and by the kids I mean exactly the sort of raucous, party-obsessed, troublemakers that terrorise our streets today. I mean there isn't even a single ballad on the album and no meaning to the songs. It's as if the entire band only care about making as much noise and annoying as many decent law-abiding people as possible. I am going to have to give this seven thumbs DOWN! An affront to the delicate sensibilities of delicate and sensitive listners across the country. BAN THIS FILTH!" - Jay Shearman, dontpaniconline.com (FINALLY SOMEONE REALLY GETS IT)

SUCKINIM BAENAIM / ACHZAVOTH SPLIT 7" Two
crazy Israeli bands is the only way to describe this record. Suckinim
Baenaim play insane, fast experimental punk. The only why to describe
it is by saying it's similar to Rolo Tomassi, HORSE the band, Holy
Molar etc - but they sound nothing like those bands. Achzavoth on the
other hand... I've heard nothing like them before - fast, heavy, satan
loving, fun.
DING DONG DEAD 'NIE
WIEDER MORGEN' 10" When a band is named after an
Orchid song you know they have the right influences already. Nine
tracks of intense punk/..screamo/skramz - whatever you want to call it.
All the lyrics are in German but they come with English explanations
which is cool. This record is also out on Twin Toe Records, We Told You
to Play Fast, Emuzah Records and Chunky the Rat Records.
