Now about me:
....Every one has a past, present and future. Our beginning and our end are planned for us by design. What we do between then is done by the choices that WE make.
.... I fear nothing and no one. My 'God' has been watching over me for a good reason I suppose.
Lived a very interesting life in the military for 8 years as a crypto geek at the Pentagon for 4 of those years(know for a fact it was an 'inside job'.
After doing my good deeds at the Pentagon, they rewarded me with a tour to Brindisi, Italy. The military taught me two things: We're governed by some very sick and pervertedly twisted, evil folks and it taught me to drink hard, and then some(Ha!).
Prior mortgage corporate burnout and became semi-retired in 2002 at the early age of 40. I decided to live in peace for awhile after becoming an employee of the year for a Fortune 200 company, which lead me nowhere, except, well, retired and a bit crazed. So? Started my own part time business selling off a 5,000 vintage ties collection from the 1900's to 1960's.
Now? I live a happy, simple life... I wear a hat, vest and vintage tie almost everywhere I go and shake hands with the people I meet. Listen to the Blues because it's gotta lotta SOUL :)
Always try to treat folks with respect and kindness no matter who they are, what they do, or where they live. People I don't know walk up to me and tell me their life stories for no reason...and I listen to them.
My father taught me right, rest his soul. You see, my Dad taught me some things at a very early age: "Think before you speak, suffer your consequences, always be honent and work smart, not hard like I did Son". My Dad worked very long and hard all his life as a railroader for 50 years and retired with 36 years of service as a Cheif Warrant Officer in the Army. He never smoke, drank or cursed. Guess that was my job, I don't know.
Now...about my vintage tie site, WWW.VINTAGE-TIES.COM is now the top rated vintage tie website on yahoo, google and msn by the grace of my higher power, and by giving genuine, personal attention to all my clients, and new found friends. And the ties speak for themselves.
Do a great deal of business with bands: Blues, Swing, Punk, Country, Bluegrass and even good ole Rockabilly folks as well.
Also very proud to add current and past Grammy Award winners, Hollywood names of fame as well, world famous architects and I am very blessed for their continued support and business.
