Formed in 1992, the Wildwood Valley Boys derived their name from Tony's grandparent's "Wildwood Farm" nestled on the outskirts of Milan, Indiana where Tony's grandmother, Margaret, still resides today. Original band members included Tony, Jamie Johnson, Harlan Gabbard, Tim Roark, and Lonnie Feller. After a couple of years of playing local shows, Tony, Harlan, and Jamie each played stints with the legendary Bluegrass band The Boys From Indiana.
In 1996, the Wildwood Valley Boys regrouped as a trio consisting of Tony, Harlan, and another cousin, Jeff Holt, bringing together that tight family harmony the Wildwood Valley Boys are so well-known for. Later, the Boys signed with Rebel Records and released their first album in 1999. They continue to record under the Rebel Records label and in 2006, released their fifth album, "Daylight's Burnin'".
Through many band member changes, the Wildwood Valley Boys have always kept that great harmony as their strongest attribute. Current band members include Tony on guitar and singing lead vocal, Brad Lambert on mandolin and singing baritone, Tony's father, Aubrey Holt of The Boys from Indiana, on guitar & singing tenor, Tom Patrick on Bass, and Greg 'Spanky' Moore on fiddle.
