    ..If asked, many people would say the best thing to come out of Gosport is the A32 to the motorway. Not so. "What is Life For?" is not so much a question mark for a name of a band but a statement for the sheer presentation and delivery of their music. Together since March 2007, they are a four piece alternative rock band from sunny Hampshire. Difficult to categorise, they have been described as "Incubus jamming with the Chillis whilst the Foo Fighters and Billy Talent have noisy sex in the corner". The driving force behind the band is Nick Bowen, lead guitar and vocals. His interest in music stems from his father, also a professional musician. This love has also influenced his three best friends, Phil Merritt on guitar and vocals and Lee Warren on bass. The man on the sticks, Alex Long, although diminutive in physical size is a giant when it comes to drumming. Not a band to do covers, the ideas are a joint affair with everyone having their input into the songwriting. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .... .... .... Now 2010 is here, the shows are flooding in, their debut album is set for release very soon and the autumn tour is booked, catch these guys soon in a city near you!.... ....
