Sounds Like
Sounds like? Have you no speakers? No broadband? Shame on you! This is 2008 you know, there should be alien ferrets running up our trousers by now, really.
Having flirted with various genres Wilful Missing are now focusing on their more acoustic side, in which they really stand out from the crowd. Having said that, Wilful Missing can still make a racket at times…think foot-on-monitor mandolin!
In 2007 Wilful Missing recorded a batch of new songs, while road testing them live around Yorkshire. They have gigged with Jeffrey Lewis, Dufus and Neil McSweeney in Bradford, Leeds, York and Sheffield and have made festival appearances in Bradford and the Yorkshire Dales. Wilful Missing have played recorded live radio sessions on Bradford's BCB106.6FM and Ramair.
"Bradford's Wilful Missing seem to be instinctive elaborators of melody, and a rewarding texture appears to develop effortlessly in their work." www.LeedsMusicScene.net (gig review)
